In an unbelievable result, and backing up Mygale’s Australian Formula Ford championship domination, Mygale drivers have taken 1 through to 11 in the Victorian Fiesta Formula Ford series.

With the finals being run at a wet and windy Phillip Island, it was Jake Fouracre, ( Minda ) the Formula Ford rookie who took the honours from fellow Mygale driver Jon Venter. ( Anglo ), with Jordan Lloyd ( Evans ) taking third in the championship, even though he did not attend the last round.

Fouracre, a Formula Ford rookie this year, was in fine form over the weekend, overcoming a difficult qualifying where a car slowed dramatically on the red flag. Jake was penalised for passing this car, with the end result that Jake was demoted from the front to the rear of the grid.

Starting from the rear in terrible conditions and a shortened 3 lap race 1, Jake went on to take a race win and second to Sonic Mygale driver Garry Jacobson for the weekend.  This was enough for Jake to take the 2011 series.

Even more incredible is the total dominance of the Mygale chassis with 5 separate Mygale teams taking 11 drivers into the top 11 positions for the series.

The beautifully engineered Mygale chassis has shown it’s strength, durability and consistent performance on any track world wide.  The chassis adapted seamlessly to the new Avon tyre compound that were rolled out in Australian Formula Ford at the beginning of 2011.  So much so, that the Mygale teams have left the competition reeling.

The top 11 drivers in the Victorian series have shown yet again why the French chassis is without doubt the best in the world today.
