Nick Foster (Sonic/Mygale) takes final round win of 2011

Sonic/Mygale driver Nick Foster controlled the final round of the 2011 Australian Formula Ford Championship at Symmons Plains (Tasmania), taking pole position and two wins from three races to secure the round victory. This year’s champion Waters (Sonic/Mygale) somehow managed to finish third for the round, despite a DNF in the final race. Jack Lebrocq (CAMS Rising star/Minda/Mygale) sealed his second place in the series championship. 7 Mygale drivers finished in the Top Ten of the 2011 Championship.

First race: 12-11-2011

The Steeline Mygale driver Nick Foster was unstoppable in the first of three races for the weekend, controlling the 15 lap event from the start to lead home team mate Cameron Waters and CAMS Rising Star/Mygale Jack Le Brocq. Trent Harrison (Minda/CAMS/Rising Star/Mygale) finished fifth.

Second and third race: 13-11-2011

Cameron Waters won the second race of the week-end in front of his team mate Nick Foster and Jack Lebrocq finished fourth. The Linde Mygale driver C. Waters ran off track and made heavy contact with the wall in race 3, which ended his event. Nick Foster won this last race of the season. Tom Williamson (Minda/Mygale) and his team mate Trent Harrison finished respectively fifth and sixth.

9. Matthew Brabham- Sonic/Mygale 95 pts
