Australian National Championships

2007 - Tim Blanchard (Sonic Mygale SJ07a)

In 2007, Tim's patience and consistency paid off. Tim proved that to finish first, first you must finish, keeping he and his car out of trouble. In a season of extremely close racing, Tim kept his Jaylec Sonic Mygale out of trouble, finishing every race in the 24 race season, finishing in the points on almost every occassion. Tim's championship went down to the wire at the final event of the season held at the Victorian Phillip Island circuit.

Tim raced against the likes of James Moffat, Ashley Walsh, Kristian Lindbom, Joshua Scott and Taz Douglas.

2000 - Luke Youlden (Mygale SJ00)

In 1999 Luke Youlden engineered Greg Ritter's Championship winning car. Mygale rewarded Luke with the use of their ground-breaking SJ00 chassis for the 2000 Australian Formula Ford Championship. Engineering his own car with minimal sponsor support, Luke rose to the challenge and secured victory by 1 point driving the only Mygale in the field.

The class of 2000 included some of Australias most successful drivers such as Rick Kelly, Leanne Tander, Greg Woodrow, Stuart McColl, Will Power, Will Davison, Marcus Marshall

1999 - Greg Ritter (Mygale SJ98)

In 1999 Greg Ritter debuted the Mygale chassis in the Australian Formula Ford Championship. In a nail biting contest, which came down to the last race of the Championship at Oran Park. Greg's main rival for the Championship was the favourite Valvoline Van Diemen driver Steve Owen. With a consistent points haul behind him, Greg showed that he had the pace in the SJ98 Mygale chassis to take the Championship.

Greg Ritter's 1999 Australian Formula Ford Championship launched the Mygale chassis into Australian motorsport, thoroughly proving the competitiveness and quality of engineering from the French marque.

The 1999 Championship saw Greg compete against some of Australias finest drivers including Steve Owen, Alex Davison, Marcus Marshall, Will Power, Leanne Tander (nee Ferrier)
