Lloyd takes the Money

The pain of losing last years 2014 Australian Formula Ford Series to rival Thomas Randle at the last race of the year, is nothing but a memory after Jordan Lloyd decimated the field, and took revenge on Randle this year, by winning not onlty the inagural Australian FIA F4 Championship, but doing it in style with one race meeting still to go!

You would have to say tht Jordan and his Team BRM Mygale F4 looked the goods from day one, taking fastest time after fastest time, and leading the championship from the beginning.  But Thomas Randle and his ultra professional Dream Motorsport team, run by his fathr Dean, was always there, working and fighting to knock the BRM driver off the top step.

Although Thomas was in with a chance at Phillip island, Jordan's pole position and winning margins of over seven seconds in each of the three 14 lap races, really showed what this mature and talented young driver is capable of.

Another awsome display of speed was shown by Jimmy Vernon, taking a well deserved second place in race two, and consolidating third place for the event after a hard fought weekend. A part from Lloyd's undeniable speed, it was Will Brown who took the honours for Rookie of the round, and a second place for th weekend as well.

Jimmy Vernon and Will Brown are without doubt two more young drivers that will make their mark in motorsport in the coming years.

The Hombush event schedualled for 4/5/6 December will see the second and third placings for the season crowned, along with the fiecely contested Rookie of the Year, which comes with a sizable prize itself.  So stay tuned as the battle rages again...
