Foster takes another podium at QR

foster-f3-qrMygale star Nick Foster completed another solid weekend aboard the Mygale Australia M11/Mercedes during the fifth round of the Formula 3 Australian Drivers Championship at Queensland raceway last weekend.

Foster completed the three races with two second place finishes and a fifth in race two, after damaging his front wing during an overtaking attempt on Jordan Oon, to finish second overall for the round and move to within five points of second placed John Magro in the Champiosnhip standings.

Foster also took the fastest race lap during the final race of the weekend, the Mygale showing it’s true pace once again.

“I think people fail to realise that this car is still only five meetings old,” Brisbane-based Foster said.

“To have this kind of a weekend given where we are at with the Mygale is a massive thing for us. It’s great. I’m a bit frustrated with the day because it could have been better if not for race two, it was a case of what could have been had race two panned out better there.

“Still, we showed how fast the car was again.”

The next round of the Formula 3 Australian Drivers Championship will be held at the Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit next month.
